Cub & Webelos Adventure Camps

Webelos Adventure Camp is a short-term camping experience designed to introduce Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts (rising 4th, and 5th graders), their leaders, and their parents to a theme-based, summertime camping experience that will help the Webelos be prepared for a smooth transition into Scouts BSA. It’s a memorable 4 days and 3 nights of thrilling and adventurous activities that keep campers excited for months after the closing campfire.

Adventure Camp is held at Camp Davy Crockett.  Packs must provide adequate leadership for their Scouts, but every Scout does not need a parent to attend.

At Adventure Camp, Scouts will participate in a variety of activities, including shooting sports, swimming, fishing, Scout skills, and much more.  Many of these activities will help Scouts earn various activity pins. Nights will be campfires, fun and games, and the tranquility of Camp Davy Crockett.

Day & Twilight Camps

Scouts (and their families) can spend the day or the evening participating in shooting sports, scout skills, team building, games, arts and crafts, and more!

  • National Summertime Pack Award
The pack can qualify for the certificate and streamer by planning and conducting three pack activities—one each in June, July, and August, or during other school vacations if your pack is in a year-round school.
  • Dens with an average attendance of at least half their members at the three summer pack events are eligible for a colorful den participation ribbon.

Scouts who participate in all three pack events are eligible to receive the National Summertime Pack Award pin, which they can wear on the right pocket flap of their uniform.

  • Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award
Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Scouts may earn the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award in each of the program years as long as the requirements are completed each year. The first time the award is earned, the Cub Scout will receive the pocket flap award, which is to be worn on the right pocket flap of the uniform shirt. Each successive time the award is earned, a wolf track pin may be added to the flap. Leaders should encourage Cub Scouts to build on skills and experiences from previous years when working on the award for a successive year.
